My wife and I just stayed at Gramercy for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time. Johnny and Diego were very nice and extremely helpful. The entire staff was always nice and pleasant. Just keep in mind for those that want to be close to all the action, this hotel is basically the last hotel on the strip. Everything is pretty far walking distance. But not a big deal, there’s plenty of taxis. Besides that great place. 5 stars

Gramercy is a beautiful beachfront hotel. I felt immersed in nature immediately upon arrival. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Thank you to Sonia, the general manager, for always checking in on us, and upgrading our room. Thank you to Renato, at reception, for making sure our breakfast was exactly how we wanted it, especially on early mornings. And a very special thank you to Griselda, our housekeeper, for the laughs, accommodations, and unique and beautiful towel displays. Other pros: jacuzzi outside our room, hammocks all around, saw baby turtles on the shore, and all of the staff is super friendly. There is a cenote across the street where you can swim for free or rent a kayak or paddle board. The Gramercy would definitely benefit from having a pool. We went over to Be Tulum for one day to use their pool because this is off- season and the shore is *covered* in seaweed. They would also benefit from a plow truck to pick up some of the seaweed to reduce the smell. Suggestion: take a refillable water bottle/thermos and fill with bottled water from the room; they charge $8 for bottled water at the Agave restaurant on premises. Please offer more gluten friendly meals in general, especially for breakfast.

The property location was incredible, in that we were the last hotel property on the beach so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Our room was a beachfront bungalow so you could walk out the sliding front door and step onto the beach…Amazing! To make the stay exceptional the entire staff was extremely polite, kind and helpful…you could feel the sincerity. Loved this place and would definitely return.

From the moment I booked I was impressed with the customer service provided. I was planning a surprise birthday trip for my wife, and they helped make sure everything went GREAT! Personal THANK YOU, to Renato, Johnni, Silvio, Diego, and anyone else involved who helped make our trip special. Before arriving Renato really helped to get things squared away for our arrival, and he seemed to genuinely care it went the way I wanted. They helped set up the room with my wife’s favorite cake, balloons, a towel decor cake, champagne, and even a card. They even remembered the lighter for the candles. They communicated all the way up til minutes before our arrival to make sure it was all set up correctly. Renato personally walked us to the Cenote across the street, excitedly showed us a monkey that had come on property, and constantly checked if we needed anything. Johnni helped with the birthday surprise as well, and with anything we needed from Bikes to last minute massage changes while we were there. It’s the small things that make a difference and Gramercy nailed it. Coffee is brought to your room each morning, room service if needed, etc. the property is beautiful and very well maintained. It’s also down near the other high end hotels in Tulum, so you can avoid the clubs and bar noises at night here. We stayed at another “Instagram” hotel in Tulum, and Gramercy beat them in every category. Only negative is no pool for sargassum season. Thank you we will be back!!!

The location of the property at the end of Tulum beach is ideal for intimate vacations but still only minutes from all the parties. The staff is awesome and the beach is perfect!

You will get robbed at This hotel!! Although the staff were really great and place looks amazing I got robbed from my own room at night when I was out Not only that I got two fraudulant charges on my credit card a week after I left (they store your credit card details on paper when you checkin easy for anyone to go and use it) If you don’t believe me check other reviews mentioning the same When I mentioned that I was robbed no one even cared to investigate and try to help

Perfect location just far enough away from the party that you have no noise whatsoever, but close enough to yoga and spas (Yaan is just a 7 min walk away), ice cream and coffee, and right on the beach. The treehouse restaurant KinToh is 20 minutes away, and most of the adventure tours depart from Tulum central, about 30 minutes away. So you skip all the crowds and noise, and everything you would want to venture out to is still very close. It’s a slice of paradise on the beach with a perfectly manicured jungle garden of pathways and hammocks. There’s a very fancy restaurant right next door, just walk down to the beach and turn left. The staff is amazing, everyone was so helpful and kind to us. The restaurant service was wonderful and Carlos and others at reception answered all our questions and brought us whatever we needed. The products in the bathroom are not the usual cheep ones and are large sized so you really can skip on packing shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion (I have sensitive skin and picky tastes and I liked all the products). I don’t know how but we never saw a bug in the room, Ricardo kept everything very clean. The only thing I’ll say is the airport taxis have so many scams so be sure to book ahead of time and come with the Mexican phone number of your transfer/shuttle company in hand if you don’t book through the hotel. One way costs $100 USD via Canada transfers, but will cost you $212 via airport taxi. That’s exact numbers as of May 2022.

Het hotel is zeer rustig gelegen, nadeel is dat de meeste restaurants en beachclubs niet op loopafstand liggen. Taxi’s zijn extreem duur, 20 usd per enkele rit van 5 minuten. Strand en strandbedden zijn heerlijk. Restaurant is goed, service op het strand langzaam. Kamer is zeer ruim met goed bed en heerlijke douche. Schoonmaak is redelijk. Te weinig handdoeken. Personeel heel erg aardig en correct.

Great hotel and very relaxing

This was exactly the quiet accommodation and high quality service we were looking for. We chose Gramercy to be at the quiet end of the Tulum hotel area with a high-end feel. We also wanted a very nice room. Gramercy delivered with a large, very clean room and a relaxing quiet hotel. We were delighted with our stay! The on site restaurant also offered great food for all meals with attentive service. We would highly recommend this hotel for other couples considering the area.
