I love this little boutique hotel. The rooms are big and super clean. It was quiet and close to the hotels I like to go to. They have a really nice cenote. Highly recommended, I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay :)

We loved staying at Cormoran, with a private Cenote, you can go swimming and kayaking, and they have free to hire bikes to ride around Tulum. The hotel is a little bit out of the main restaurant area so it’s really lovely and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cormoran hotel surpasses expectations. Not in a busy area on the hotel zone, but perfect for tranquility and peace. They give access to their private Cenote and a beach front pool. Room "Cormoran" has a balcony and a private rooftop terrace with hammocks overlooking the jungle. Overnight security and plenty of parking if driving a vehicle.

You need a car if you are staying at this hotel. No beach access anywhere close by. Beautiful room, but soo humid. Breakfast is nice but very minimal and simple. Really far down the hotel strip. Very secluded. Nice staff. Clean pretty and natural hotel, but very quiet with no amenities at all.

They says pet friendly but received hostility when in rough fly pet Told there is zero tolerance for pet, the ‘welcome’ was stressful, frustrating and false accusations left me feeling unsafe here. The manager, Andrea is unprofessional and argumentative There are railings missing from the 2nd floor porch which feels unsafe

Booked six nights at Cormoran Tulum (partner hotel to Posada Lamar and Casaambar) but left the first morning after being bitten all-night then waking up to bedbug blood-stained sheets (photos attached). Hotels.com advised us to check-out immediately, assuring us they’d escalate the health violation issue to obtain a refund from the hotel. 72 hours later, Hotels.com responded, “The hotel has advised they will only honor the original cancellation policy and have declined your refund request.” In the end, one sleepless night cost us nearly $2,000.

Un desastre al llegar... no hay quien te reciba, te mandan una clave, que a mi nunca me funciono, estuve 2 horas afuera esperanfo, como esta alejado, no hay señal, tuve que regresar al pue lo para intentar comunicarme, nunca me contestaron, el telefono que tienen esta fuera de servicio...el lugar no tenia ningun servicio y no habia nadie para resolver, afortunadamente llego una persona que nos reubivo a otro lugar, nos mandaron un tipo hostal (casa ambar) que esta mucho mucho mejor... este lugar no lo recomiendo como hospedaje, esta bonito, y puedes conocerlo por la mañana, no pudimos ir al cenote, supongo que esta bonito, como ya era noche no habia luz, tienes que usar lampara... bueno esa es mi experiencoa nada buena... tal ves a otras personas les haya ido mejor... pero si piensan llegar tarde noche no elijan este lugar, no la pasaran bien...

El lugar es bonito con cabañitas amplias y comodas . Para mi gusto faltaria un calentador de agua y quizas una cafetera para no tener que molestar en recepcion. Los alrededores son tranquilos teniendo en cuenta que el hotel esta en la zona hotelera de Tulum, lo cual significa que en menos de cinco minutos te encuentras en plena zona de restaurantes, bares y clubs. Un plus es el cenote desde donde puedes tomar el sol y bañarte tranquilamente.

This place was absolutely beautiful. They have their own private cenote. It's quite away from dining but would definitely stay here again. Oh and only downfall is that AC can only be used from 9pm - 7am.

Good stay at the Cormoran.

We had a great time at the Cormoran. I will say, it is basically the southernmost hotel on Tulum beach and getting in and out of there every day through that road is kind of a nightmare, so keep that in mind if you're leaving the Tulum Beach area...even the north end of the beach can take a while to get to by car. Otherwise, the Cormoran was great. Breakfast was meager...coffee, toast, and fruit, but the rooms are cool and so is the cenote. Lots of cool fish swimming around and very pretty.

Wow, what a beautiful hotel! My wife and I came here for a relaxing trip, and enjoyed so much basically having a cenote all to ourselves. The location is great, close enough to the hustle and hustle but far enough so that you don’t have to worry about relaxing. It’s also right next to the area’s biggest biosphere, which I would highly recommend! Thanks to all the helpful staff who were always cheerful and helpful at any hour.

This hotel met and exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly. The place is absolutely gorgeous. You’re lucky if you get to stay here! It’s a gem in near the end of the hotel zone. When I come back to Tulum, I’ll definitely come back here. I love it so much! Free parking, complimentary breakfast, beautifully kept, cenotè in the back. Just perfect.
