Back to 1970

This hotel still has all of the originals from the 1970s…including the mattresses. This was not worth even $50 a night. The only nice thing about this hotel is the outdoor bath area.

のんびりできました

11月の平日に家族で宿泊しました。 多分ほとんど宿泊客がいなかったからか予約したお部屋よりグレードアップされて家族３人で4人ような部屋に泊まったのでとても快適に過ごせました。 露天風呂もありほぼ貸切状態だったのでのんびりできましたが、内風呂はないのと洗い場は6つくらいしかないので、露天風呂に入るだけで行った方がいいかなーと感じました。 周辺には何もない場所なのでホテルで夕飯を食べないのでしたら、食べてからいくか買っていく方がいいと思います。 宿泊者が少ないからか夕飯はコースディナーしかなかったので、一旦チェックインした後に麓のコンビニまで買い出しに行きました。 朝食はブュッフェタイプでそれなりに種類もあり美味しかったです♪ お部屋からは浅間山が見えて景色は抜群でした。 山々の黄葉が美しかったです。 また、機会があれば泊まりたいと思います♪

軽井沢の喧騒を離れて

ツインルームを夫婦＋母の3名利用で、1つはソファベッドでしたが、案外しっかりしているのと、部屋も広く余裕があったので快適でした。 ゴルファー向けホテル、という感じですが、ゴルフをやらない私達でも全く問題なく快適に滞在。 特に素晴らしかったのは、景色の良い露天の天然温泉、朝食後に山々を望む嬬恋テラスで飲むコーヒー、まさに至福のコーヒータイム。 周囲はゴルフ場以外何もありませんが、その何も無いことがのんびりとできる滞在にことにつながっています。 建物自体は年相応ですが、きちんと手が入っており、スタッフの方々の対応もみな丁寧でした。 残念な点は、まず夕食。基本予約のコースメニューしかありません。アラカルトもありますが、コースメニューから1品選ぶ、という感じで選択肢はなく、そして高い。その分ちゃんとしていて味は良いですが｡｡｡、もう少しカジュアルなアラカルトがあるとイイなと思います。 もしくはもう少し売店の品揃えを充実させる等。 それからコレは仕方ないですが、建物内の移動距離が長く、温泉もレストランも結構歩かされること。またバリアフリーの概念が無い時代の建物なので所々に階段などバリアがある点。仕方ないですが｡｡｡ 多少そういう点もありますが、総じてゆっくり滞在のできる良いホテルと思います。夏の北海道にいるような錯覚を覚えました。 また滞在したいと思います。

施設は少し古い印象がありますが、周囲の環境が素晴らしく、夜は芝生の庭から夜空を眺めることができました。繁忙期にもかかわらず、チェックイン/アウトもスムーズでとても気持ちよく過ごせました。夕食のコース料理もボリューム満点で大変おいしく、朝食のバイキングも気持ち良い景色を眺めながら、和洋折衷のお料理を楽しむことができました。露天風呂も素晴らしい景色でした。テニスコートが営業停止になっていたことが、唯一残念でした。

大浴場の露天風呂からの景色がとても素敵です。大浴場に行く時は部屋のタオルを持って行くようにわかりやすく説明されてました。ホテルは古い感じですが、お掃除はしっかりされてました。お部屋からの景色も素敵です。自然の中にあるホテルです。

嬬恋高原ならではの風景

ロケーションは素晴らしく、部屋の窓から浅間山を独り占め。 この風景は軽井沢滞在では味わえないものでした。 ただ、食事をするレストランが遠いとか、お風呂のロケーションも最高ですが、部屋から遠いとか、築年数もあるので少し不便な所もあります。 ただ、概ね快適です。

家事から解放されてゆっくり寛げました

悪天候のためゴルフや観光はできなかったが美味しい料理食べて温泉入って、ゆっくりすることができました。コロナ渦で外食も控えてひたすら三度の食事を用意してきたので久しぶりに家事から解放されたことが何よりでした。嬬恋キャベツ、やみつきになるほど美味しかったです。

お茶タイムにホテル内でお茶する処なかった

３時ころ到着し、コーヒーでも飲んで寛ごうと楽しみにしていたら、その時間に喫茶できる処がホテル内に無くて大変がっかりしました。雨の中、車で20分かけてカフェに行きました。 お食事はとても美味しかったです。
