「We were not told there would be a wedding in progress so the music was quite loud until 11pm.
There was no option for early takeaway breakfast at 8am, and no option for room only.
The restaurant still set up for wedding, with chairs stacked up.The female staff in the restaurant were very nice and the food excellent, something a bit different.
Our shower head kept falling down & the toilet flush handle broken.
The room was spotlessly clean.」Sharon

「Don’t book. They will not honor your booking at property. They will ask you to pay again and get a refund from Expedia. Whole experience was horrific and would never ever stay here again. Also the hotel services and staff are an absolute zero」

「I wanted to know if they could give me a room with a shower tray. No reply.
I needed to cancel due to illness and then neither I could get hold of them. As a result I had to pay for a hotel I could not use.
Expedia were unable to sort out this issue.
Such poor communication means I will not use this hotel ever.
I also am disappointed Expedia could not get the hotel to agree to basic customer service like being responsive to customer enquiries」Linda

「I loved our one night here. It was a stop off on the way further south but I wish we could have stayed longer. So peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay happen, even when we arrived late. We ate our breakfast outside in the courtyard which was idyllic. The food was gorgeous. We shopped in the farm shop afterwards and bought more than we needed as it all looked (and was) so good. A really lovely stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Really ovely room. ...Melissa

「Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus.
Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it.
Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty.
We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider.
Lovely dark room and we slept so well.
Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown...Michelle

「A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views.
Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through.
Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty.
The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you.」Tim

「Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend.
We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.」Amelia

「We would not have booked here if we had known the Saturday breakfast was 9am to 10am.
There is no information about breakfast times on the booking process.
The TV was totally unusable as I do not have a modern PhD. I simply could not understand all this internet stuff.
The Wifi speed was slow, less than 1mbps.
Besides that, clean comfortable room, excellent real beer in the bar.」Derek

「A historic building in a central position in Frome, clearly an old coaching inn or similar. The bedrooms sit within a maze of staircases and corridors. Some stairs are best suited to young mountain goats.
My room was on the top floor, up a narrow, steep stair with a tricky turn. My stick and I managed it, just, and staff brought up and took down my case. I expected an attic-type room, but it was spacious, with high ceilings, nicely laid out and with a clean, well-maintained bathroom - full...Barbara
