We got a hotel room last minute when our plane was cancelled. Service and the rooms were satisfactory and we were very happy with the breakfast, but found the price very high - price for value is really questionable.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel staff are professional and friendly.This hotel is located in the city centre nearby many of the attractions, point of interests and a bus ride from and to the airport. The room we stayed at was quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent with many options. We Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this hotel! The room was very nicely appointed and much larger than usual European hotel rooms, perfect for a couple there for multiple days. Cleaning was very prompt and thorough each day, including replacing our slippers when it was noticed one was stretched out! The location cannot be beat, it is quiet and restful at night and in the morning but no more than a 3 minute walk to be in the heart of Tromso downtown.

Great Central Location

Lovely hotel near all the central attractions. Good sized bedroom with coffee making machine, lots of toiletries including shampoo and conditioner and comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast offers a wide choice of dishes. Staff friendly and helpful

Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior double and everything met our expectations. The room was spacious and breakfast very good. In the evening a light evening meal was provided which was a welcome surprise consisting of soup salad cheeses and hams juices coffee and delicious fresh bread, very good! I would definitely recommend a stay at the Thon Tromso!

Ok hotel

Decent enough hotel for a couple of nights. No bathroom amenities, so be sure to pack ur own. Safe didn’t work. Breakfast is mediocre but coffee is good. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but nothing great either.

The hotel was overall good – clean, comfortable room and a tasty breakfast with a decent variety. I was quite happy with my stay… until Sunday morning. At 4:30 AM, the fire alarm went off. And no, there was no fire. It was just a drill. Yes, a planned fire drill. At 4:30. In the morning. On a Sunday. Naturally, all guests had to evacuate and wait outside for about 30 minutes. But hey, it was summer, so at least it was light out and wonderfully warm – the perfect time to stand around in your pajamas, half-asleep, bonding in silence with other bewildered travelers! Needless to say, that was an unforgettable touch to an otherwise peaceful stay.

The hotel was in a great location for all that Tromso had to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. There were multiple charging points in the rooms. The included breakfast had plenty of choice, there was something for everyone. I loved the heated floor on the bathroom. If I go to Tromso again I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Great hotel!

Overall we had a wonderful stay of 5 nights. We did choose a superior room so I would imagine that helped. The bed was very comfortable as was our room and the staff were for the most part very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent with an abundance of choice. We did receive a voucher for one complimentary light evening meal which was adequate but could have provided a little more choice. Overall, a brilliant stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Checkin was simple. Room was clean. I could hear my neighbors television blaring loud music through the wall throughout the day time when i was in my room, so thin walls. A bit irritating but i wasnt in the room a lot and wasnt an issue at night. Included breakfast was good, very adequate. Great hot water. Walking distance to alot of shopping, bars, restaurants, aquarium.
