"The Good: Breakfast was tasty with a solid variety, including fresh options for making breakfast sandwiches. Reasonable Pet Fee. The Bad: Staff were not friendly—more indifferent than rude—and often unavailable. I waited 15 minutes at the front desk just to check out. I requested a handicap-accessible room with no stairs but was placed on the second floor. The only elevator was on the opposite side of the building, with no nearby handicap parking. The TV didn’t work and had to be rewired by staff. Trash barrels near the entrance doors were overflowing, and there was a constant smell of alcohol, marijuana, and vaping in the area. The Ugly: The toilet ran constantly unless manually adjusted—something housekeeping should have caught, especially since the room didn’t feel clean. A smoke detector directly above the bed flashed a bright light every few minutes, repeatedly waking us. The dog relief area was filthy, with waste scattered throughout and no visible maintenance. Worst of all, constant plumbing noise. Water ran frequently during the day, then nonstop starting at 4:20 a.m. for over an hour—sleep was impossible. Checked out and won’t be back."

"Great location, in very safe area, and only 5 minutes from Springfield Mall, "Whole Foods" and lots of other fine stores, and the Franconia-Springfield Metro station. Gives easy access to Arlington and Washingto, DC. Internet speed is particularly high for a lodging. "

"Just “ok” for an overnight stay. But a few notes: Front desk staff should never say a customer’s room number out loud when assigning, especially with other people in the lobby. Rooms and furniture very dated, and in need of replacement with modern sleek furnishings. It looks like someone’s grandmother’s house. Everything is bulky and just…NO. Hard floors need extra attention in terms of cleanliness. Also, I can’t stress enough: DUSTING and WIPING down surfaces better. Thank goodness I travel with cleaning products."
