「We stayed for 1 night. Linda was very responsive and communication was above par. She’s accommodating when we arrived at almost midnight. She greeted us and allowed us a late check out so we could get more shut eye and a chance to walk around and explore New Bern downtown. Breakfast was superb. The dining room was well equipped with fresh fruits and brownies. I highly recommend Meadows Inn.」

「No pool! We chose this hotel instead of others mainly because they had pool. However, the pool was not open yet in wait for inspection. This was not announced at the website. Our kids were very disappointed. The staff lacked enthusiasm and were unwelcoming. The room had a weird smell. The only upside was that we had breakfast outside with a nice view of the marina.」

「We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. 「We did not get the room that we booked through expedia. I can't get any money back for my suite that we booked because we went through a 3rd party. Now, I have to got back to expedia to dispute this because it was their fault. They booked a room that wasn't even available. We didn't know until we got to the hotel. We had to pay for a second room so the others could have room to sleep. They did give us a little discount but still not enough to make up for the amount we spent on the riverview...

「This was our second stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. It is not easy traveling with an 80lb. dog and they make you feel so welcome. The staff is super friendly, they provide a welcome bag for you and for your fur baby. 「I reserved a room that was supposed to have a couch as well. While the room was acceptable looking, it was small and only had a chair wedged between the wall and the queen sized bed and no couch. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and with my bad back I could hardly walk the next day, and when I spoke with the staff, I learned there were no other rooms for me to move. 「There is a certain basic expectation from budget Hotels but then there is below expectations… First room I got placed into looked like the party room several broken and missing features like someone had partied hard previously in it. I did bring it to the attention of the front desk and they did move me to a different room. Also not the best area there was a-lot of shady happenings going on in the parking lot even during the day.」
