As a road trip stop - pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness, quiet area and good riverside view of Trent. We've never stayed at a Motel 6 as we prefer at least 4-star hotels -- but not many choices in the area during high summer season. Staff were very helpful however the rate was definitely overpriced for a 2-star place for the night.

We attended a wedding in the area. So did not use the amenities. But took a walk around the property in the morning. There is a lovely park area right on the water with a children’s playground, a pool (closed) and a fire pit. It was only a couple of minutes from “downtown” Campbellford where there are lots a restaurants and shops.

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed, fluffy towels and a decent size of fridge with a small freezer. The lawn down to the Trent River was large and included 2 covered picnic table areas with a propane BBQ available and a very nice pergola for watching the river and/or the sunset. The pool was quite old, but very clean and a pleasant place to swim and lounge. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There are some nice restaurants in Campbellford, which is a very pretty town and we enjoyed ourselves, staying 2 nights. We highly recommend this more-than-a-motel!

Il s’agit d’un motel des plus ordinaires quoique très très propre. La chambre était très petite . Il n’y avait pas d’espace pour circuler à cause du bain jacuzzi en plein milieu de la chambre . Je ne me serais pas baignée dans la piscine . L’eau m’a paru trouble. En résumé , le prix de la nuitée est réellement excessif pour l’endroit . Et c’est mon erreur à moi. Le motel est à 40 minutes du parc Presqu’île , lieu de rencontre fixé avec des membres de la famille

There is no much space in the room with 2 queen beds. The view is excellent as it locates at the riverside. A short distance to the Toonie and a suspension bridge.

Very costly compared to other high end places we have stayed that included all amenities … this place offers nothing! Tiny bathroom with no place to set anything, dangerous getting out of a slippery tub with nothing to hang on to, Rickey outside stairs ( for someone with mobility issues), no breakfast. The only reason it’s overpriced is because there is nothing else in a 30 km radius. Bedding and towels were clean, so that was a plus. One coffee packet and no creamer or sugar! Next time we’ll drive the extra km!

The owners and staff were welcoming and kind. Lovely property on the river. Several areas to sit etc. a bit outdated especially the pool but it was clean. No wifi was provided. No coffee maker in room. Also it would be nice to have beverages available like water on site. Some noise as my room was by the stairs. I’d get another one next time. All in all I had a relaxing time and will return.
