"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Good food, clean room however No hot water in the rooms after 18.00Hrs. No heaters working in the bedrooms."

"Stayed in a twin lodge room. Overall the room was clean comfortable and well maintained. The hotel had a lovely restaurant and bar area and is well located in the town centre. I was disappointed with a few things however and expected more for the price of the hotel: The breakfast costs £15 and the portions are very small with a limited buffet option. The breakfast staff were not particularly welcoming and got the order wrong on both days we stayed. I recommend not paying for breakfast in advance to keep your options open. The single beds in our twin were very small. Narrower than a standard single and the mattress were not very supportive so I didn’t get a great nights sleep during my stay. Overall disappointed with my stay and think there are better value options available. "
