"Hotel is lovely with a great setting on the river, staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was first class, as was the Evening meal, did feel that the tables in the restaurant were a bit dated so a cloth to cover the table would have made it look so much nicer, I appreciate that the building is very old and had I known how noisy it was going to be I would have asked for an upstairs room, you could hear every step because the floorboards were very creaky and none of room doors had a soft close mechanism so there was constant door banging, it would also have been helpful if all guests could be reminded to be considerate by keeping the noise down when returning to there rooms late at night on the information sheet in the room.
Having said all that it is a beautiful place in a great location and I will definitely be returning in a few months.

"We really enjoyed our stay - the room had everything we expected for a B&B stay and more. There were some lovely touches that stood out such as fresh milk from the farm, and we found the breakfast room really homely. Janet was also a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed"
