「The atmosphere of the castle was absolutely beautiful. You’re in an ancient castle yet everything is so pristine and high tech. The rooms are luxurious, the bed is so comfortable, and everything is clean and well kept. It’s cozy, quant, magnificent, and grand all at the same time. The service was fantastic. We would WhatsApp Mirko or whoever was at the front desk whenever we needed anything. They were always so accommodating and on point with their recommendations. They make everything very easy...

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. 」
