We had the most wonderful 3-night stay. This B&B is a shining example of how a place should be run. The owners Tim & Vicky have put so much effort into the small details that make all the difference—from the pristine room and comfy bed to the fantastic, high-quality breakfast. Tim and Vicky are excellent hosts… the breakfast is amazing … they have electric car charging point within the property which is highly recommendable for people who drives EV cars. This hotel is highly recommendable will definitely come back.

Lovely little hotel!

Lovely stay recently at the Brandize. Set back about a 5-10 minute walk from the sea front in a lovely quiet location just past Torre Abbey. Tim and Vicky were perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us, pointing out the local points of interest and where to dine out. We also got upgraded to a slightly bigger room facing the front which was perfect to come back to each evening with the sun shining through the windows. Fantastic breakfasts and service too!! It was a very nice stay, we stayed there for two nights.The best breakfast we had on our Journey through Devon /Cornwall. We got some information about the Dartmoor und also to maps about the aera of Dartmoor. Tim and Vicky are the best host,very friendly! We can recomend this place! Franz & Liliane

Fantastic Guest House

Had a fantastic stay. The owners are very friendly and everything you could need is provided. Our room was very clean ,spacious and well equipped. Location is good with a short walk to the sea front and the town centre. Sadly we didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast as we had to head off early as we were doing a marathon but the choice looked great. We would definitely stay again when we are in teh area.

Super Seven Nights

Arrived Saturday 07/06/2025, during a torrential downpour but Tim was at the door with a warm welcome, swiftly followed by Vicky. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to room one. This room overlooks the front of the property with an extremely large sash window, which makes the room nice and bright. The room itself is very large with king sized+ double bed fully furnished. Wardrobe, dressing table + stool, chest of drawers, tv, 2 chairs, coffee table and a hospitality of tea , coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, hot chocolate, bottle of water. All of which are replenished as required on a daily basis. Ensuite bathroom, shower over bath, heated towel rail, toiletries (shampoo/shower gel, conditioner, hand wash, body lotion). Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits. Followed by fresh fully cooked choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, beans and toast. Plus tea or coffee. Alternatives are fresh fruit, mini pastries. Whatever breakfast you choose you will not need to eat till your evening meal. This breakfast is cooked to perfection by Tim and delivered to your table by the ever efficient Vicky. We stayed for 7 nights and the service never wavered from excellent. Location: Only 5 - 10 minutes flat walk to sea front and local to a variety of local shops. Less than 5 minutes to Torre Abbey. Fantastic place too stay

The hosts were fantastic couldn't do enough for you.We have been travelling to Different places over the last week and this was the most homely place we stayed.We would highly recommend this accommodation wish we could have stayed longer

We stayed at Brandize Guest house with kids . Our Room was perfect and bed was very comfortable. Beach was only 10 minutes walk . Fabulous breakfast with variety of options. We arrived at the property bit early Tim and Vicky let us check in early .They are very welcoming and very kind . I highly recommend this Guest to anyone with kids .

Lovely stay at The Brandize

The Brandize Guest House was in a great spot just a 20 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants. The Brandize was very clean and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. I would definitely stay again. The only negative comments I would make would be - All the courses of breakfast came almost at the same time and we would have liked some time between the courses to digest the food and relax a bit. We ran out of toilet paper on the last day as it hadn’t been replenished when the room was refreshed the day before. Check in was a bit disorganised and not as friendly, welcome and informative as we would have liked. Tim and Vicky are new to the business but I feel they would have benefitted from some help and advice before they started to run the guesthouse. Well done guys but please be a bit more welcoming on check in x

We had a wonderfull stay here, Mandy and Aiden made us feel very welcomed upon arrival through to the end of our holiday, the breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed each day sitting in their front garden in the sunshine. The Hotel is close to museum, eateries, bars and beach and harbour and just a short drive away from other amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return again Wishing Mandy and Aiden all the best in the buisness and there future.
