A lovely B and B, very friendly welcome. Amazing breakfast, comfy room, will be booking again so close to everything. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Super pretty little place

Great Stay

Great location to where we needed. Only issue was the road is fairly busy at night but this is a reality everywhere around Torquay

When we arrived and saw the outside of the building we were disappointed. Railings and paintwork dirty, walls had cracks in at the top of the building. However we thought that perhaps the interior outdoors be in a much better state. Unfortunately it was not. Our " Superior " room was on the top floor, we didn't count them but it must have been at least 6 flights of stairs. The room itself did not give the impression that it was clean, although it may have been. There were cracks across the ceiling which had been plastered over and repainted, although still clearly visible. The only positive thing I can say is that en suite was immaculate, which suggests that it had all been recently fitted. We came out and immediately started to look for an alternative accommodation, although we had prepaid for the Cranbourne, we had to be prepared to lose our money. Thankfully we luckily managed to find a beautiful hotel, and our room only cost us £10 more than the price of the Cranbourne deal. It was an expensive decision to make, but in our view the only one possible.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated like friends not just paying guests. The welcome was really genuine, the room clean & tidy, the beds very comfortable & the breakfasts fantastic with a large choice & plenty of it. If we are in the West Country will definitely use the Cranborne again. Highly recommend to others.

Birthday weekend. Sharon and Mandy were both lovely, very welcoming and helpful, clean room with fridge which was a plus, plenty of hot water, parking also a bonus and a brilliant breakfast what more could you ask for ? we'll definitely go back. thankyou

A lovely welcome

We had a lovely welcome for all owners and staff. The hotel was very clean with a good choice of breakfast. The hotel was situated a nice walk away from town, not too far but a lovely walk down the hill and around the harbour. Would definitely go there again.

Friendly clean comfortable but slightly noisy

Lovely welcoming from the owners very friendly very talkative very helpful. Clean room very comfy bed decent shower and bath WiFi is ok. My only negative point is the parking only 3 very small spaces means you have to park on public road depending on how close you can get can be slightly annoying. Also very noisy from busy roads. Overall very good

Weekend break with the wife

The owner and her staff were very friendly and the rooms all clean with nice bedding, the breakfast was lovely, just a little walk to the beach and bars! A excellent place to stop for a shot break.

lovely little guest house

had a wonderful stay. it was only overnight but we were made to feel so welcome! the only downside was that the shower was poor in the room but other than that it was fab. great breakfast and plenty off it and great location. will definitely stay again if we were in the area. many thanks!

Clean and friendly hotel

The house was kept by the most friendly staff always pleased to have a conversation and giving off a great positive vibe, breakfast was amazing with a large choice of cooked as well as cold foods the rooms were clean comes with free Wi-Fi and the general quality of the building was in outstanding order if I ever return to Torquay I would certainly come back here
