"Clean and tidy with all the essentials included. Very central location. Its a cheaper than some and so attracts a mix of cients. And its on the edge of the area where bands etc happen. Would be great option for backpackers and those wanting a compact place to sleep. "
"we loved the Penthouse which had spectacular views. Staff were also wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly.The location was central and within walking distance to most things in the CBD. The pool setting did not really impress us, however, everything else was perfect so we would definitely recommend the Argus to others and we would love to stay at the Argus again. "

"Mindil Beach was excellent, great value for money, new pool area was fabulous, old one was nice too. Restaurants were all very very high standard, and never saw a staff member that didn't have a freindly greeting and a smile."

The staff were all lovely and helpful and the roof top bar is a great bonus, with great views across the city.

"We really enjoyed our stay. Our room had an amazing view of the bay and sunset and we were a pleasant 10-15 minute walk along the promenade to the downtown restaurants and bars. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful and they offer a great breakfast. We really appreciated the fresh fruit and juice options. We would definitely stay again."
