Friendly staff member in reception. We stayed in the single level older style building in updated very well-maintained order. Standard size double room has everything you need. Clean quiet rooms, large shower, separate toilet, micro, small bar fridge, crockery, reverse cycle aircon, large window looking at lawn and plants, easy parking and driveway, very close shopping centre for take away or Spar supermarket. The room was neat and tidy and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming, I also liked the fact that they had table and chairs outside the room where I could sit and have a smoke as hardly anyone caters to smokers these days usually at most places you have to go and stand on the street. I will definitely be staying there again next time I’m in Toowoomba.

The Flying Spur was clean and tidy. Geat that smoking isn't allowed in or around the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Booking in was easy. The pool needs a shade area over the seating area. The room we were allocated didn't have any allocated or undercover parking. We had to park either near the pool area or behind the main building. Not good if it rains and car took awhile to cool down because it was in full sun. Maybe the owners could look at improving the facilities by adding shade. If they provide and undercover smoking area in a carport.with seating, they could think about making the stay in the front 3 rooms more inviting.
