This was an older property but was wonderfully clean and the bed was surprisingly good. Area around limited in dining but it was lovely and quiet. Good budget hotel but furnishings need an update. Would stay again.

Old but nice

The staff was super friendly and I was able to check in earlier which was amazing. The room was a little old fashioned but very clean and spacious. It was perfect for a night and even a few nights could be spent here. If I‘m ever back in the area I would stay here again.

Great old-school motel in Toora

Nice old-school motel with a definite 60s - 70s vibe. Rooms were clean and fully equipped (microwave, boiler, toaster, fridge, etc), checking in and out was easy, nothing to complain about really. Good value for money, would definitely stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay at Toora Lodge Motel! The owner was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. About 1 hour from Wilson’s prom so easy access to the park. The room had everything we need and had a lovely garden to watch wildlife. Nearest supermarket and cafe only a 5 minute walk away. Perfect stay. Thank you 🙏

I’m sorry but there was no air conditioning and the fan was noisy. The shower dripped continuously and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to work. Otherwise the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the walk to the “Royal Standard Hotel” was pleasant and the dining experience very enjoyable.

No one in office when arrived but they had a box next to door so could get keys out which was very easy to do. The bathroom door didn’t shut at all, curtains on windows very hard to close and one window only had half a curtain , I know the bottom was frosted but light still came in. Dishes needed to be cleaned again as still had dried food on. The spa was wonderful as water very hot so great to relax in. Changing from spa to shower on the tap was difficult to change.

Uncomfortable bed, sagged in middle, sofa springs sagged cushions fall through. The website suggests there is a restaurant serving evening meals and breakfast, it is not operating and appears not to have done so for many months. It also states there is laundry facilities - there are not. Whilst we accept it was moderately priced a comfortable bed is paramount and the marketing should be accurate.

I booked this motel because I thought it had meals available through their Bistro, no Bistro and no other food outlets for evening meals in the area Monday and Tuesday nights closest for a meal Foster 15km drive away! Annoying but it happens during non busy season I guess. Township - lovely - people very friendly and the host was nice. Just wish tourist people would update their brochures to not say open 7 days a week on everything you read / seasonal conditions would be helpful for future bookings.

Our stay here was lovely! The owner was very friendly and accommodating! It was early spring and still a bit cold, but we were welcomed with a powerful floor heater and electric blankets, so it was warm and cozy during the night. Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable! I had some trouble with the tap in the jacuzzi tub, but once I got it figured out, it was fantastic! The scenery was beautiful and the area was very quiet, making for a relaxing experience. I really appreciated creature comforts like the tv, mini fridge, water kettle, and microwave too. The milk provided for our morning coffee had turned, but we appreciated having enough coffee and sugar to each have two cups before we hit the road. We were just passing through, so I can't comment on activities in the area, but there was a supermarket, a pizza place, and a gas station for our needs. It's a beautiful little town for a serene stay, and I highly recommend this hotel! If we get a chance to return, we'd definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Exactly what it says on the tin. Affordable and comfortable, clean and tidy. Huge room with loads of space for two people. The electric blankets were a great touch as it was a little chilly the night we stayed. Would highly recommend for an overnight trip.
