"The staff were absolutely amazing. The hallway was very dingy not nice at all and the futon bed they put on the floor for me was horrible. Having said that, I have never slept on the floor so it was the first time for me. The resort Onsen was amazing. "

"I loved our huge room with private balcony onsen and the Japanese design of the room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were really good and for us more than sufficient in quantity. They have a rotating set of 3 different dinners, so day 4 = day 1, but for us that was fine. Bed was a bit on the hard side but I got used to it."

"The beds were very thin mats on the floor with the worst pillows ever and terrible duvets, more like a quilt in an exposed duvet cover. The room was large but empty. After a long day of taking multiple trains I could have cried. It was pretty much like sleeping on the floor, with sketchy bedding, two sparse threaded towels, the toilet didn’t flush very good and the bidet sprayed water on the floor. It was the worst room I’ve ever stayed at and yet paid $370 Yen for one night. Do yourself a favor...

The outdoor onsen was fabulous, providing a perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast/ dinner included were delicious and truly added to the experience. "Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time.
