"Stayed in standard garden room and was overall very happy with our stay! We arrived early before out check in time and the front desk was very accommodating, making sure our room would be cleaned right away and offering us access to the breakfast buffet (for a fee). They only were kind in holding on to our luggage for the day as we had a tour booked. The room was arguably a little outdated but it was clean and we had everything we needed - we were primarily there for all-day sightseeing in Luxor and were really only in the room to sleep, so it was perfectly adequate for that purpose and good for the price. We spent some time by the pool, which was also very nice and checked out the animal zoo, which was very small, but fun, especially for kids. The breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of different options. They had plenty of outdoor seating on a beautiful patio overlooking the Nile, which we enjoyed immensely. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Dinner was either a la cart at different restaurants on the property (Egyptian, Italian, American) or buffet, both of which very good. Overall, this would not be my choice for a resort/beach vacation but is excellent for sightseeing + a little lounging. "

"Overall the hotel is fantastic. Would definitely go back. Superb location on the banks of the Nile, lovely room and swimming pool. Disappointed that the half board package only allows access to one of the restaurants as this was not mentioned when booking. Also the Tropicana snack bar was not good - the bar surface was very dusty and the food was served almost cold."

"3 star because Room was clean, nice property, breakfast buffet was really big and spread out and restaurant food was really good BUT Check-in process was frustratingly long and then they assigned a wrong room number, internet/wifi did not work at all and reception staff not helpful /no PR. "

"The room we had was very nice, with a large balcony. The furnishings were beautiful, and the bed and linens were good quality. We enjoyed sunsets from the roof top deck. Check in process is a bit confusing, there is no front desk on site. If you have mobility issues, there are no lifts ask for a room on the ground floor. Amazing views of the Nile, large clean pool. Prior to booking, we were unaware that there is no restaurant on site, no shops or restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery services were unavailable. The hotel is a distance from town, so be aware of this-if you do not have a car, be prepared to take taxis to have a meal, bring some groceries with you (full fridge and microwave in the suite) "

"This is a great spot! It’s located on the West Bank, away from the hustle and bustle. We used the transfer service the hotel offered which was on-time and very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is super! Immaculate! They have a pool, bar area where they serve beer, wine and some spirits. The restaurant was very good as well. They have pizza and burgers, if that’s your liking. We went for the set menu offer which included local mezze, soup, a main (Egyptian or International), and a dessert. All were great. (They also grow a lot of their own fruits and vegetables on site). After dinner we enjoyed some shisha. All of this and a bottle of wine was less than $100 CAD dor two people. Can’t say enough about this place!"
