Except close to Shinjuku San Jo-me station, there’s no way to choose this hotel. The room fully opened without cleaning, don’t understand how they still give me the key. First time ever happening in Japan. Old room, not well-cleaned. Air-con have a loud noice. Far from center of Shinjuku. Won’t stay here second time for sure.

A short walk to the subway and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. The property is quite dated and there was no escalator at the front entrance. Had to carry big suitcases up the stairs.

신주쿠에 위치해서 어디든 가기 편했습니다. 특히 신주쿠 가든쪽은 걸어서 3분 거리에 위치해 아침에 걷기 좋았구요. (입장료는 있지만...) 조식은 따로 제공하지 않습니다. 그리고 너무너무 룸이 작아요. 큰 캐리어도 제대로 피지 못할만큼 좁습니다. 또한 마지막 날 10시 체크아웃인데 30분 지났다고 1,000엔을 요구하더라구요. 당황했습니다.

reasonable price for its location considering that it is Tokyo. not the middle of hot places, but you can go to Omoideyokocho by walk. Old fridge doesn't work well. Old a/c not easy to handle.

床が斜めになっているお部屋でした。 体の不自由な方やお年寄りはこの部屋にならないといいなと思います。 お掃除はまぁまぁでしたが、清掃スタッフさんの対応がとてもよかったです。 フロントに人がいないことが多いですが、対応は大変よかったです。 とても立地が良かったので、総合的には概ね快適で良かったと思います。 大変お世話になりました。 ありがとうございました！

スタッフの方の接客は良好でした。立地も新宿三丁目駅至近のため申し分ないです。周辺は歓楽街ですが、平日のためか、騒音は気になりませんでした。アメニティ類もきちんと取り揃えられており、特にボディタオルは重宝しました。難点は室内環境がよくない点です。室内がカビ臭く、空調も古い設備のものでした。翌朝、喉を痛めてしまいました。

TAKAKO様この度は新宿にある数多くのホテルの中から当館へのご宿泊をお選びいただき誠にありがとうございました。しかしながら、他のご滞在のお客様による廊下での話し声によってこの度のご滞在を台無しにしてしまい誠に申し訳ございませんでした。ご指摘の点につきましては、当館での防音対策が不十分であることも否めませんが、現状ご提供できる改善策としましては、フロントカウンターにて耳栓をご用意しております。また、当館フロントは24時間営業をしておりますため、廊下やお隣のお客様の話し声がうるさくて眠れないなどの事案が発生した場合には直ぐにお部屋のお電話で内線9番までご連絡ください。フロントスタッフから当該のお客様へ注意をさせていただきます。改めましてこの度は満足いただけるご滞在を提供できず誠に申し訳ございませんでした。今後、より一層お客様へ寄り添うサービスの提供を目指して参りますので、またお越しをいただけましたら幸いです。

The hotel was clean and tidy and the employees were eager to communicate in English which is rare in Japan. Only downside was the slow wifi but it worked fine at the lobby so no complaints.

I like the hotel and have stayed there many times over the years, under both new and previous ownership. The rooms are clean but small. If one is used to a smaller Japanese-style hotel, this is fine. The hotel is very close to the tunnel system connecting it to Shinjuku station and the Metro system in addition to restaurants and the park nearby.

やはり場所もありますが夜はなかなか外の音が気になります。 サービスで、お水やお茶があればいいなとも思いましたが、それ以外は普通のビジネスホテルという感じです。 スタッフの対応は良かったです。忘れ物をしたのも着払いで送っていただきました。ありがとうございました。

Great location, near Shinjuku JR station and a subway stop. Clean and staff are friendly. There are stairs going up to the property so those with heavy bags may struggle the 10 steps but there is a lift inside.

I've stayed at this hotel many times before the change in name from when it was the Lonestar. Rooms are small and not for everyone, but I am comfortable here. Staff are friendly, and the location is convenient to the tunnel system to the JR Shinjuku station and the Tokyo subway Gyoenmae, 3-chome station.

Pod select var det sista hotellet jag och min familj besökte på vår 2 veckor långa semester runt om i Japan. Det var nog det enda hotellet vi inte vart helt förtjusta i. Stog att sängarna var ”superior double” stora nog för tre pers. Sängarna var ca 120 bred. Och vi skulle alltså sova två och två i dom. Personalen va trevliga men hotellet kändes lite nergånget o väldigt trångt. Lyhört. Hade känts mer okej för en billigare peng.
