Perfect Japanese Ryokan Experience

Absolutely charming! It's not one of those chain hotels. It is cozy, welcoming and very Japanese. Staff is kind and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property is on the older side but that's what gives it that Japanese charm. I found the place to be very clean and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Would definitely stay here again, even to just sit and look at the garden in the lobby!

Great hotel

It was great that we dropped off our luggage in the morning and they already delivered in our room when we came back at night. We really enjoyed the baths and the hotel was pretty close to the subway stations. Staffs were friendly and their service was great! We would like to go back again!

Very comfortable Edo style hotel

Edo style hotel, it is old but spacious and comfortable. The staffs are friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Beware that it is located a little bit uphill if you have heavy luggage.

Great value for the hotel - we stayed for 4 days. Location was close to Akihabara and supermarkets. The lack of space / modern-ness of the sink and washing area was made up by an excellent onsen experience. Traditional breakfast in the morning was a great way to start our day!

Nice Hotel in a Good Location

It's a very old hotel but well kept and the room was clean. The front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. The free breakfast every morning was nice. For the price I can't complain about anything

Loves our stay!!!

We loved the friendly and cozy environment! The staff was incredible and so kind!! The Onsen was sensational! Breakfast was delicious! And the tatami and futon was such a treat to experience! We hope to return in the future!

Lovely old school Japanese hotel with helpful staff in a good location. Our toilet leaked but staff were able move us to another room quickly. Also appreciated them keeping our luggage safe for a few hours between check out and departure to the airport.

Very cool traditional design and extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was included (also traditional) and was very enjoyable. The only downside is that the doorways and fixtures were all quite low. Watch your head if you are close to or over 6 feet tall.

Quite reasonable price and equipments are good enough for solo traveling. The building itself is very old and at first you might care about the smell from washbasin drainage and sofa, but you get accustomed to them overnight. They are trying to renovate and update the equipments. The staffs are nice and it’s no wonder it accommodates many foreign tourists.

Very pleasant retro hotel, bit frayed around the edges but clean and comfortable plus excellent breakfast, nice bath and sauna on roof. Plenty off spaces to sit and relax, great location and friendly efficient staff.

I stay several time in this hotel whenback to Tokyo, It's a Japanese style with a relaxing atmosphere. Many foreigner stay here and seem to enjoy Japanese room, breakfast, public bath. This place locates a little bit far from main station, but 4-5 min from nearest station, Yushima so can be reached on foot.
