By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

The hotel is at right at the train station (walking distance) and close to downtown. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Staff were wonderful.

The hotel in very close to Higashi-Shinjuku station which has the Odeo and Fukutoshin lines and basically connects you to all of Tokyo. It is a little loud due to ambulance activity since you are near Kabukicho but it is still safe. Don quijote is just a 5-10 minute walk. There are an abundance of restaurants and a couple of convenience stores all around the area. The staff is also amazing they helped me out when I needed to toward my luggage to my next hotel and also when I lost my key. I will definitely have this hotel in mind on my next trip to Tokyo!!

This was our first time visiting Japan, and we absolutely loved this hotel. It was a bit small with limited space to move around, however, I believe a lot of hotels are roughly the same here in Japan. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect — close to shops, restaurants, and transportation, yet still quiet and relaxing. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. It made our first trip to Japan unforgettable. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Clean and compact place to stay!

Me and a friend stayed for a week and it was great. It is right in front of a station that is a couple stations away from places like ikebukuro and shinjuku. The place was clean and pleasant throughout.

This hotel is across from a Mcdonalds, and very close to the Fukutoshin metro line. Great if you want a late night snack, and travel to Shibuya and Ikebukuro is very easy. The hotel room is clean and has everything you need, although it may be feel very small for some foreigner guests. Staff was welcoming and were able to help in English. Check out is at 10am, which I thought was a bit early and inconvenient. You can pay 2000 jpy to extend by one hour and check out at 11am. I thought this was expensive, and not very customer friendly. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay.
