lovely location. breakfast had a huge variety of choices.
one small challenge was information. i asked about boat trips, went to the activity desk, who said they weren't running, who sent me back to the front desk, who gave me a bus timetable. every time I asked a question I was handed more paper. this was after a 15 minute long check in where they explained random hotel details. I then had to go to another desk to make dinner reservations - at the hotel.
hoping for a bit more efficiency in the future.
We’ve picked this hotel just as a stopover before going to Iya valley and other places. With not much expectation, the hotel exceeds my expectation in every way. We were arranged a room in annex which is newer and our room has modern decor. It comes w a balcony which overlooks the ocean. The scenery is good with serenity. Room is spacious and v comfortable.
The hotel got two public onsen. One on top floor while another one on ground floor is outdoor. I like the outdoor one which has half of it exposed in the sense that the windows are wide open. Very relaxed.
Dinner is not included. Hotel got three restaurants. We went to the Japanese one. Picked dinner set. Taste was ok
A beautiful view of the Seto Nakai on a perfect beachfront setting.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Thankyou Jan
Jan was fabulous as we had to change plans and find a day earlier. Great to see his smiling face and great welcome at the station. Thankyou Jan. Onsen was perfect
Fabulous sunrise view over the ocean! Hotel is clean and comfortable. We stayed in the main tower; comfortable beds, although the decor is a bit dated/tired. The spa baths in the hotel were really lovely. Good beach activities for the kids. We found the Western buffet somewhat limited, and the hotel restaurants all closed very early (~9pm). No one at the front desk spoke English, but there were handouts in English. We were charged a spa fee that they did not tell us about (because they didn't speak English, and we didn't speak Japanese, unfortunately); but it was very small (~300 Yen per person), and the spas were lovely, so just a small note for future travelers to be aware. Great gift shop!
