「We didn't really know what expect and it turned out be a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is compact yet there is plenty of room in the fire heated large and small sitting rooms. There's a wee conservatory as well with lovely views. The breakfast room was ample fir the guests. Restaurant was closed for winter but the Àn Praban bar served lovely food, emphasis on seafood/fish/ and local beef etc., with specials roughly every couple of days. 「The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」
