"Rooms are quite old, but overall everything was perfect."

"Great room, lots of pillows, for a smoking room it didn’t feel like a smoking room. The front desk staff was excellent. Parking offered before check in time was great. Early morning free breakfast was great. Location super ideal."

"The rooms had a great traditional feel and the private outdoor tub was really nice to enjoy. My friends really loved the public and private onsen as well. They even have a spa onsite and the massages were very good and reasonably-priced. The breakfast and dinner meals were excellent, although maybe a bit too much food for us. Walking into Yubatake wasn’t all that bad, but a bit icy in spots. "

"This was the first time we stayed here. My husband and I had a western style room and it was very roomy, furnished nicely, staff was polite and knowledgeable, had an onsite onsen too. Free shuttle service to the train station too. We would be happy to stay here again! "

"Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Great staff and service. Very clean and a good dinner buffet. The hotel is a bit of a hike uphill. Google maps might tell you to approach from the right, go behind the hotel and come around to the entrance. This route has a bunch of uneven steps and is somewhat steep. It’s better to approach from the left side up a paved road with an even incline."
