「First room we got smelled like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes in it and had to ask for another one. Next room was not clean, there were things on the floor that clearly indicated it had not been cleaned very well. The walls had missing plaster and different scuffs/divets in them. The back door of the building was propped open for anyone to get in, no key card required. There were men outside of the hotel by the exit drinking beers until very late at night, I was nervous to walk...

「When I pulled up to the entrance, I saw a lady arriving with a bag of food. I thought nothing of it. When I went to the check-in desk, there was no attendant. I called out, looked around, and in the dining area--no one responded. I thought this is weird, so I waited, and after about ten minutes, the lady I watched entering the lobby with a bag of food was actually the customer service attendant. I'm guessing she left to get food or had someone deliver food to her in the parking lot. She...

「The receptionist made several mistakes and had a poor attitude during a simple check-in. They certainly don't advertise that the typical little breakfast buffet, with terrible-tasting scrambled eggs, is not free. No free breakfast. And the signage in the large parking lot does not make it clear that parking is not free for hotel guests. It should say, "PARKING IS NOT FREE FOR HOTEL GUESTS." I got a parking ticket.」

Construction workers worked during the night at 11pm and later and we could hear them sawing and banging on the floor below us. They are renovating the second floor and we were on the third floor.
