「Absolutely amazing! Room was gorgeous and spotless, Ms Ai and all the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Without doubt, this has been the best stop of our trip and I hope Mountain House will let us come back in the future! We had dinner at Mountain House one evening and it was excellent - real home cooked food. Free use of the bikes was great and Ms Ai organised a cave tour and a moped for us. An incredible stay that made us feel truely welcome!」

「Gem and Tuon were wonderful and attentive hosts. They were always available to help. They drove us wherever we wanted to go. Unfortunately my boyfriend was sick almost the entire stay (from before we arrived) and they brought us food from their restaurant as he wasn’t able to go out. They were so kind and lovely and we had a great stay. We weren’t able to do too much in the way of excursions because of illness but they had loads of recommendations and tours available to book through them. 」

The family who run it are really friendly and helpful and make it a warm and welcoming place to stay. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend booking a staying here. 」

「Delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Such a peaceful relaxing stay with a great view. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a spider in our room but that is expected with the location. The host and their family are so warm and welcoming we would definately return if we are back in that area. 」

The only complaint is that we made special request - "if no elevator could we have a 2nd floor room" There is no elevator and we were given a room on the top floor. The hofel was nearly empty and we are old and find it difficult to climb stairs. 」
