「For some reason, we were upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a four poster bed which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are not serviced if your stay is 3 nights or less but you can place rubbish, used towels and toiletries outside your door and they will be removed and replaced. There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening...

「The room was ideal. It was comfortable, had a bath and shower that were easy to operate. There was a generous supply of teas and coffee. The cosy lounges downstairs were lovely. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful with plenty of coffee/tea topups. All the staff were polite and attentive and easy to have a chat to. Overall, a memorable stay. We shall certainly return soon!」

「The Maid's Head Hotel is well located in the city centre. All the staff I spoke with were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. My room was decorated well and clean, with modern amenities and extras like a minifridge and bottled water. Wifi was strong. The water pressure is good with plenty of hot water. I didn't originally book breakfast at the hotel, but the next morning I decided to eat at the hotel and I am glad I did. There were plenty of options for a hot breakfast, as well as, fresh...

「Was a lovely clean very comfortable room would definitely stay again minimal breakfast as kitchen was closed so paye for breakfast at the hotel as cheaper than on line...every penny counts 😁」

「The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences.」

「Comfortable bed, always our #1 priority. Plenty of hot water - except for both mornings when there was none - weird, and they thought so too when we told them about it. And then there was the whole kitchen/dining/living room area, which is quite a bonus when all you really need is a hotel room. So: sink, refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, utensils, glasses, wine glasses, even a washer/dryer! Very nice, and a very spacious room for relaxing and watching TV,...
