"Hmmm.. not sure where to begin. Let’s start with the rooms , they were perfect for our family of 5. Clean, spacious and really appreciated the kitchen, big bathrooms and washer and dryer. Now to the layout of the hotel and rooms … don’t do it , the entire location is like one big maze and we were constantly bumping into other guests lost and confused, not ideal for your kids to navigate these halls by themselves, you can end up in dark parking garages. The water park prices for drinks and food are inflated as you cannot bring in any outdoor food or drink in this area. The weather was amazing in March and so we had an enjoyable stay but to be in any room above the 3 floor would be a major inconvenience as you wait for elevators and navigate the maze! My entire family commented on the hallways and how annoying it was to navigate. We had a fun time as we were on holiday but would not return to the grove resort . The 50 dollar parking fee per night is a rip off and I also need to confirm with the hotel if my resort fee was included with my Expedia payment or if I was charged 49 per night for that as well! In a nut shell it’s a miss from our family. No one was bowled over except for the clean and spacious 2 bedroom accommodation. "

"The staff was amazing! We arrived super early after debarking our cruise and since it was too early for check in they were nice enough to guard our luggage and gave us bracelets to enjoy the amenities the pool and the beach were great we had a great time relaxing we had some food and drinks at the bar and enjoyed with our kids. Definitely recommend this hotel ! "

"We definitely enjoyed the pool and McCoys. Thought about Hemisphere on the 9th floor but couldn’t swing the $$$$. It’s a shame more middle class people can’t enjoy that experience. That said, the Hyatt in the airport is so convenient for early flights, highly recommended!"

"Wonderful staff, rooms clean, walking distance to everything. Safe environment The amenities are normal..iron coffee etc. Food: Mr Eds restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and open 7am-10pm. I have no complaints at all. I stayed in a delux room, it had a mini fridge and microwave. "

"There was an ozone generator left in our room when we were taken there. Lighting in room was faulty; one night we were awakened when spotlights on the bed suddenly turned themselves on. Towels were given two at a time and some had holes and tears. Some days we were told that they were out of washcloths. In a large bathroom, the sink was tiny, with no vanity and no space for personal toiletries. The toilet seat was terribly loose. One night after 9pm the building lost power. We self-evacuated down a dark stairway that had no emergency lighting. No staff ever told us what was happening. They showed no signs of having any plans or training for dealing with such an emergency. Visitors were left completely in the dark...literally. The beach was almost visible from our 3rd story room. Without a balcony it was not worth the extra cost. The bright spot of our stay was Wilson, the host at the Meet Dalia restaurant. He was prompt, attentive, engaging, entertaining, and very helpful with tips about South Beach."
