"Very convenient. Right across from the beach. Staff was friendly. Our only issue was they were ‘stingy’ with towels. We had to ask each day for more towels."

"The property was nice, booked a one bedroom. Was a little small. No washer or dryer, no full size mirror. Found it difficult to locate pools. Room was in building 80 not a good view and accessing building was weird."

"This is the best budget hotel in the area with a lazy river. I say budget because four seasons is literally 10x the price per night. Also, this has volcano bay literally attached to the hotel and because it's a universal hotel, you get in the water park 30 minutes early. For the other universal parks (universal, Islands of adventure and epic universe) you get in an hour early, which easily saves HOURS in line each day. It also has a nice cafeteria on site so you don't have to leave the hotel all week if you don't want to. It's not gourmet but it's decent and kid friendly. They also provide free bus service to all the universal parks (so no need to pay for parking twice), which includes city walk if you are looking for more upscale eateries. A bonus if you stay 5+ nights in a row is a $300 food credit for the cafeteria which is enough to feed you for those 5 days, unless you hit Starbucks every day as well. One side of the hotel has a pool with a water slide and the other side has a pool with a lazy river so if you have a preference which you want to use more, make sure you request a room on that side of the property so you aren't having to walk a lot to get to them. Volcano bay entrance is on the lazy river side but it's easy to get to so that really doesn't matter. Both sides have an outdoor restaurant by the pools that serve different things than the cafeteria so make sure you check them out if the cafeteria offerings aren't too your liking. There's also a bowling alley."

"Hotel was immaculate, room service was top notch, and the entire staff was courteous and attentive. I would definitely stay here again the next time I return to D.C. The hotel is very centrally located and easy to get to sites and the a million restaurants. The pool looked lovely, but the only unfortunate thing was that it doesn't open until May 1st for we couldn't use the pool---but it looked great!"

"Terrible service by the front desk lady and the manager!!!!!! Wrong charges on smoke detectors by $250 … scamming people who stayed there by saying your room smoke detector activated and you have to pay $250 . We were not in the room that time and we have to get video proof from the restaurant where we had dinner on that time and waste our whole last day in the trip !!!! Stay where ever you want other than this scamming resort who don’t have 1% of Hospitality understanding how to take care the precious costumers who give them the business!!!!! Worst stay ever!!!!!!!!!"

"the room was clean upon entering. staff was attentive and friendly. if you do park there be prepared to walk just a little bit from the parking lot to the hotel which is across the street. the room itself was much smaller in the picture but i didn’t mind since i was solo traveling. also the pillows that they have are the most comfortable pillows i have ever slept on.
