"My wife and I stayed this week. It was her first time to New Orleans and we both absolutely loved our stayed. The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is such a beautiful hotel and I can't say enough how great every single staff person was. They really made our stay special. "EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE WAS INCREDIBLE. Seriously it is the best hotel I ever stayed. Beautiful view, pools are clean and everything in the hotel, is super clean, staff is amazing, everything was super smoothly and easy. Check in, check out, stayover. I really recommend it. I loved the free beach chairs. View from the hotel to the ocean was amazing. Breakfast could be much better and a lot more from the buffet, but service and everything was super nice."
The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"The beach view was amazing. All the staff was friendly. We listened to a local duo (the velveteens) one night at the beach bar and they were amazing. When we visit the island resort next time I hope they are on the schedule. Price wise, the food and drinks are up there. We had our breakfasts included with our room and we won't do that again. $55 without a tip for 2 people on the buffet is high. Especially when the variety of food isnt there and the taste is just okay, nothing to brag about.. The bar in the main building hasn't had draft beer in at least 3 months. The Compressor is down and parts have been ordered, but no one knows how much longer it will be. The a/c units in our suite worked, but they are somewhat noisy. We froze when they would run and roast when they wouldn't. I'm guessing that's typical for the Florida heat in August. Overall, our 2nd trip to the island resort in 2 years was good. We will eventually stay there again, but not sure when."
