「A lovely village pub. I didn’t have a dinner, however, the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was really nice, with freshly made coffee, which was good. 「The hotel was in a great part of Edinburgh making it easy to walk places. We loved how the building fit in with old Edinburgh. The breakfast was delicious. Being able to store our luggage between checkout and when we caught the train gave us an extra half day in town. We definitely recommend to anyone planning a stay in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. 」

「Excellent check in by Matt, enabled us to check in early and took all our bags up to the room for us. Room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs. Excellent location opposite the train station and all local amenities on the doorstop. Unfortunately the live act that was on was singing IRA Support songs and when my partner objected and complained we were asked to leave the bar. The singer did admit that he was wrong and had caused us being told to leave」
