「No food deapite advertising meals and breakfast. Room cold. Body hair in covers. Wouldn't recommend.」

「Excellent facilities for our family base, couldn't have asked for more in terms of quality of location, equipment and entertainment for all including games, media etc. We wanted a location we could use to explore the whole island and we found it worked perfectly. Couldn't have been cleaner, great welcome pack to help you when you first get there, safe parking, great garden grounds to utilise, family friendly and ran by a great couple who are close by for any reassurances you may need.」

「After having a great stay here in 2019, we thought that we would visit again. The Dinorben is run by excellent hosts Veronica and Gary, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, evening meals and Sunday carvery were all excellent. The hotel has clean comfortable rooms, and is a great base for exploring the area, with some lovely walks and places of historical interest. We will definitely visit again.」

「The slate is a lovely hotel ,cosy and comfortable .the reception is welcoming and clean and there's a lovely log burner in the bar that gives the plase an atmospheric smell. Evening meal was really good and good value for the home cooked food we enjoyed . Breakfast was really good and just started the day perfectly . We recommend to anyone and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Wales .」

「Granted, we did only give 5 hours notice of our arrival, but the room was dirty and cold on arrival. No heating in the bathroom and the window wouldn't close properly. No soap and we found dried toothpaste on the bed linen. The table was unwiped and greasy. We requested to move rooms and, as much as it was a better room, it did also have issues. No soap in the bathroom and the light was quite frankly dangerous and didn't not stay lit. We found another review which said the same thing back in...

「 Faded Victorian excellence trying to satisfy today's tourists and not quite managing it (building is over 190 years old). Our double room was more like a single room. Buffet breakfasts Ok, dinners no more than average. Car parking difficult!」
