The room was a little bit small for a family of 4. The bathroom was a very good size though, and it was very clean as well. The breakfast they offered was really good and the hotel is at a good location. Everything is at a walkable distance. The staff was nice. Would to stay here again!

Helpful staff, modern room, and walk-able area

The staff was very helpful even though I spoke English. The hotel room looked new and modern. I loved that the air conditioning made the room feel very cool during the hot day. The place is right in the middle of everything. Lots of good places to eat around the corner and a short walk to "el centro". I especially liked the secured parking offered to me at no additional charge.

We spent two nights in Casona 1530. Service was good, but be aware that breakfast was not included and is not available unltil 8:15 so an early departure is problematic. Our room was clean and I think by Tequila standards, it was relatively quiet.

Something to consider.

The hotel facilities are in good condition. Staff is friendly. However, they enforce this absurd policy of giving you only one door keycard per room. We had to scramble on how to go out and move around the town. When I asked for another card, they refused. Furthermore, the room requires the card to turn on the lights and a/c. With temperature of around 95 F you can imagine how hot the room was when we returned after walking around. But overall, if you are willing to accept that absurdity, it is ok.
