THE GATE HOTEL FUKUOKA by HULIC

8/10 Good

"Great location. Rooms are small by American standards but adequate. Beds and pillows are great. Bathrooms are spacious (at least in the corner deluxe room). Access to subway on the basement level. Great shopping nearby."

Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station

10/10 Excellent

"Great pr operty in an excellent location-amenities, staff and rooms all fabulous-my only bugbear to s the parking-T is a with a 3rd party operator and is supposed to be 200yen is using a ticket from the hotel-we parked at 1,35 and I specifically asked whether that was going to be ok and r whether we were going to get charged for 2 days and was told that was ok it would count as 1 day-I queried this a number for f times-sure enough we were charged for 2 days…."

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka

10/10 Excellent

"Location was top notch! Very pleased the hotel took our room instructions to push the 3 beds together for the safety of our toddlers. The 2 block radius of this hotel was amazing… You get a bit of everything from cool gachapons stores. For the room itself, we liked the layout. We booked the quadruple bed room. Bathroom was solid too. Cool that there was two TVs. Comfort was good too. If I had one thing or two to criticize the hotel about - the room felt and smelled dated. Upon entering our floor I could smell some old smoke smells emanating from the carpets (I’m extremely sensitive). None of these issues truly affected my stay. It could look more modern and perhaps the smells could have been mitigated/improved. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again at the hotel!"

Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Gion

10/10 Excellent

"This is an excellent hotel that we just picked by shear good luck. The hotel is very clean, breakfast buffet is fantastic, rooms are clean with fresh water in the fridge everyday. Hotel staff very friendly & spoke basic English which helped for us. Location is great as well, right next to Canal City shopping & food and a short walk to Hakata station which is a major hub making travel anywhere easy. Neighborhood very safe as well. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Fukuoka!"
