「Fantastic overnight stay. Room was clean and fresh. Early evening (SAT NIGHT) a little loud music from the restaurant/pub across street but that ended early. I love the porch rocking chairs and view of mountain! I might suggest to owners that they don’t allow guests to smoke directly outside of their room, but perhaps a designated area down at far end. Often when I opened my door to the porch, I could smell cigarette smoke. Otherwise, a great place to stay! 」

「Property looks great from the street. The location is just a short walk to all the shops in downtown. The floors on the front porch, lobby and hallways were dirty. They needed to be swept and the tile should have been mopped. The front entrance door and trim work had peeling paint. Our room was warm at first but the man at front desk came and opened the air vents which helped a lot. Our room was small and no TV, which we were aware of.」

「This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing.
