To whom it may concern,
I am writing to ask for US$100 compensation due to the overcharge situation occurred for accommodation at Leonardo City Tower Hotel Tel Aviv, in 20th-26th Dec 2019.
We have been asked for credit card as earnest money for stay, on check-in date 20th Dec. There was no doubt for us on such action as always happened in global hotels subject to assurance propose. By the morning in end of stay on 26th Dec, we were informed that there is a mistake charge from my credit card as accommodation fee US$815.65, which a interrelated payment was already settled via Hotels.com before our flight to Tel Aviv.
It is disappointing to the situation that the duplicate crediting was made on 20th Dec, but were informed by Hotel at latest moment, instead of to leaving us notification or memo as at earliest timing during our 6nights stay. We haven't hangout any "non disturb" signage at room door thus service staffs visited for room service on everyday of stay as normal procedure.
We have been wasted time extra for Hotel to debiting the amount back to my card, result cause for taking taxi to airport as tense to meet our flight schedule back to hometown.
It is not to claim for any embarrassment or mentally exhausting, but exchange different of the credit and debit processed, and taxi fee to airport at result.
Look forward to feedback from you,
KW
