Wonderful location, with gorgeous chalet that had everything we needed. Ellie was amazing and contacted us prior and cooked us a magnificent meal, which was a real treat after a long day. It was so relaxing to sit in the spa after dinner and enjoy the peace and serenity.

Great cottage very unique, great washing facilities, a small problem with the hot plates but was fixed quickly by message to owner. Just a little maintenance could fix that problem. Huge king bed and plenty of towels. Great overnight stay

We stayed for one night visiting the surrounding areas. The chalet is very nice, roomy with well equipped with kitchen living area. We dined in the Bistro & Ellie recommended the 3 course special for $59 per person. This was the best dinner we had so far during our trip in Tasmania. Will definitely booked again and enjoyed our stay greatly

Loved watching the wildlife around our cabin Not much in the way of stores for supplies or restaurants that was a disappointment The sunken floor for us as older folks was a bit of a hazard otherwise very good clean n tidy

We loved this beautiful little cabin! Great service from the owners and a really private quiet location. Offered early check-in without us even asking! The only negative was the couch really needed to be replaced as it’s unusable

The property was very nice and we were able to find it just after dark with communication from the host. The cabin had a sunken living room and loads of windows to see nature through. There were pull down shades for privacy as needed. Having a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry soap provided was very helpful. We did not use the kitchen facilities but they were adequate for a several night stay. Instead we frequented the amazing restaurant on sight both evenings and really enjoyed our meals. The chef is amazing and her dishes are clearly cooked and presented with love.

Well equipped and comfortable studio apartment with good outlook over the garden to the bay. As an older couple we found the split level flooring a bit awkward to manoeuvre our way over and space was a bit tight on each side of the bed. Despite these unusual features we loved staying at the apartment and observing the local wildlife.

Place was dirty…tons of dead flies on the floor at check in. Also Read description carefully. On site Restuarant is not open during week and no operating cafe in the area for good coffee. Layout is poor…there is no closet or dresser to unpack your stuff..and no counter space or wall hooks to help out. We put the floor plants in the spa tub to create a little space ON THE FLOOR for our bags. Communication by text was good…they fixed the broken heater within 24 hours.

We loved our stay in the chalet. Very cosy and comfy with the convenience of kitchen and washing/dryer facilities. There is also a restaurant on site if you dont want to cook. We would definately recommend a stay here. 😊

As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where Wi-Fi materialized. Cottage 1: here are just a few of the more obvious things: shower water goes everywhere/towels need to be on the floor to collect the water, sink plug doesn't work, Daiken AC does not work properly: needs at least a good clean: we tried multiple times to get it working with no luck (our homes over the years have had Daiken: brilliant AC normally) & the afternoon heat on the glass panels turns the main room into a hot room: not good when the AC is playing up: might be great in the depths of winter: the cottage badly needs an update. In short, we didn't think the owners had put much effort into checking our cottage before our arrival to ensure it was ready. Two other mentions before we close. The Sharp TV was old & useless: few channels only & the bed was hard/sheets/covers barely average quality. Being underwhelmed & generous we rate this a 3: we cannot recommend this nor; will we be back again. It could of & should have been a much better stay, for the price.

Close to tourist destinations, walk to the waters edge, very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was toasty warm with a very comfortable bed. Will definitely be staying again next time we are in the area.
