La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip.

This was the most wonderful resort my husband and I have ever stayed at. The staff was incredible, the hotel is gorgeous and the property is unlike anything in the world. Isola Bella was swimmable! We never stay anywhere twice, but are making an expectation here. We cannot wait to stay again!

The room was very small and the bathroom had no storage or shelves for wash kits, so had to put everything on the floor. The staff was friendly, but a complaint over the lack of ventilation in the bathroom was not resolved. At the beach club, a staff member followed us to our room, claiming we had not paid the bill, even though we had paid cash. There was a train track running just behind our room, train noise was annoying. Lovely views and good access to beach.

Perfect position by the sea with stunning views and a great beach club. Breakfast was amazing, both in terms of selection and view over Isola Bella. All of the staff team were incredibly welcoming. Garden view bungalow was really handy for the beach, shower and bed were great.

Amazing location with private beach facilities and beautiful surroundings. Great friendly service that goes above and beyond expectations, fantastic breakfast and bar. Easy walk to cable car for trips up to Taormina old town. The rooms are smallish and a touch dated but still very nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing location, clean spacious rooms, staff are so courteous, friendly and really make the stay special. Buffet breakfast really good, free parking was a huge bonus. Sunbed included for guests which is really necessary to enjoy the beach (typically 60-80euros for externals). It is not super easy to get to the main town so need to take a taxi (20-25 euros) or cable car (10euros per person for return trip).

The hotel and staff were absolutely incredible. You’re literally a few steps from your room to isola bella and a comfortable beach chair at their beach club, the parking was super accessible, and you get greeted at the door with the most delicious glass of almond milk you’ll ever have in your life. Whenever I come to Taormina from now on, this is the place I will be staying. Grazie mille per tutto La plage
