We had a two bedroom unit. It was very nice, the only drawback was that the bathroom didn’t have a mirror. The hairdryer was attached to the wall. I could not see while I dried my hair😜

Location is great. Short walk to everything Tamarindo has to offer. The free breakfast is good. The restaurant food is very good as well. The pool area is awesome with an amazing view of the water. Also has a swim up bar. The staff was very attentive and everyone is friendly.

They throw a raging party on Friday nights, which is not made clear up upon booking only upon check-in. The party is ridiculously loud. You cannot sleep with the noise or the vibration of the room due to the loud music that goes until 2:30 in the morning. Completely unacceptable for a hotel. It is not a nightclub. It is a place where people go to try to get peace and sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms and staff were excellent. We loved hanging out on the upstairs deck. It was extremely easy and close to the beach. Breakfast had a wide variety and very tasty. We were there on Valentine’s Day. They had a dinner and show that was sold out. However, since we were staying in the hotel they let us come for the show. Which was fun. Our only thing we and others staying at the hotel was that there is a party/rave. It started at 9 pm and went til 230am. The noise level was so loud. Justin did let us know about the party when we checked in. We appreciated his forth coming. Apparently this happens every Friday night. Just a warning

Ac was broken, I had to request a new room. When I got the new room there were cockroaches and geckos in the room. The door wouldn’t lock to our spot and the manager called the technician but he advised me they were on break and would send them up in 45 mins when they were done. Terrible customer service. This is also located in a very noisy nightclub so if you’re looking for a good stay, this certainly isn’t the place.

Still waiting on a refund since we only had 3 guests but was charged for 5. They said to reach out to Expedia. There was no hot water. The bed sheets had dog hair in them so we had to get those switched out after traveling all day. The lock on the door didn’t work. The curtains were completely see through and we were a group of women. The breakfast that’s free was at least decent.

Clean room was very nice! the only thing I would suggest is to have washcloths available for the guest to use. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the Thursday dinner and show was amazing. Justin was very professional and accommodating, I will definitely back again.

The service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great view from balcony rooms. Prepare yourself for lots of steps. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the River mouth on Tamarindo beach. The surf was great almost every day. Just far enough from downtown to feel like you’re an outsider but close enough to walk anywhere you want to go.

The staff was excellent: warm, friendly, responsive, in-person and online! Loved my room and seaside view. Especially loved the quiet rooftop lounge, which is one of the more beautiful quiet spaces I’ve experienced traveling. Only little criticism is to have a little more breakfast buffet variety during the week. Otherwise, I lived my stay!

The hotel is centrally located and is connected to a surf school which allows you to borrow surf boards. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice traditional breakfast!

The room and staff here were amazing. The breakfasts were amazing. My wife’s favorite was the chia pudding and I really like the French toast. Kids liked the pancakes and omelette. For how nice this place was we were surprised it wasn’t busier. Would definitely stay here again. Pool and swim up bar were nice. Walking distance to beach was fast. And they had surfboards to use at the beach.
