「Friendly staff greeted us and available 24 hours. Very nice people. The room and beds were comfortable but the bathroom had a lot of black mould that needs bleaching/removal. I also had to clean the toilet properly before using. Fantastic location for the street art trail, food, the jetty and public transport links. 」

「To be honest I received the best welcome, it is actually even cleaner than on photos, they gave me a good reception with everything needed in the room : Tooth brush , flip flop for the shower, extra water , tea cup , towel, it was really clean and was smelling super good and also the boss of the hotel is speaking a good english and is really helpfull with his customer. Fun fact he gives you a pins to put on his map to see where all his customers from, it was really awesome. Thank you...

「Clean, spacious and comfortable. Recommended for family with young children.」

「Merlin guesthouse was great, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, they checked each day if we wanted our room cleaned. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a wet room, but kept very clean. Location was good, short walk to many bars/restaurants and the hop on hop off tourist bus had a stop just round the corner. 」

「Spacious rooms and tidy place. You will meet the cutest and friendliest cat in the lobby my daughters had great fun playing with. There was a small incidental omission on part of the management and they insisted on providing rent free room for the next 24 hrs and would not accept payment. Very nice people. 」

「Location is good and is quite accessible to city centre. Lack of room facilities, e.g. no hair dryer, no hot pot and the lighting is very poor. There is only one bulb at ceiling center in the room.」
