"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. But this was what we looked for so worked well!"

"Room is spacious and the staff were friendly. We stayed for five nights, there are some restaurants close by, and a Family Mart and bus stops about a 10 minute walk away. Location wise, the hotel (if you don’t have a car), is pretty far from the port and main market, about a 25 minute walk. Overall though a great option and priced well."

Maezato

10/10 Excellent

These are brand new apartments. Good-sized rooms/balconies in an easy location with plenty of parking on site (¥1,000 a day). Ten minutes walk to Famimart, Hottomotto bento restaurant... McDonald's?... Five minutes drive to supermarket, drugstore, the ferry terminal and "downtown" eating area. Neighborhood was very safe (but the whole island feels safe, so...) Our room had a Japanese style bathtub and shower with EXCELLENT water pressure and temperature. Bathroom amenities are plentiful...
