A comfortable night stay

Upon arrival to the hotel, staff were patiently waiting at the entrance building, greeting guests and go all the way to our car at the car park to help with the bags. The hotel has good English speaking staff. This makes our stay even more pleasant as the staff was able to explain the Japanese meals in details during dinner. The room was comfortable for a night stay. Although the onsen is quite small, it was still comfortable for a good hot bath during a cold winter night.

Wonderful get away at Ryu Resort and Spa

Very good service from reception to dining restaurant staff, all very helpful and friendly. The room is cozy and very clean. Would come back to stay here again.

自然に囲まれゆっくり過ごせる場所

ゆっくり過ごす目的でこちらを選びました。小川の音と虫の鳴き声だけしか聴こえず、ゆったりのんびりできました。星空もきれい。スタッフの方は親切丁寧な対応で良かったです。温泉の泉質も良かったです。部屋のトイレとお風呂は少し時代を感じさせる部分はありましたが、それ以外は部屋も広く快適でした。食事は地元食材を使ったメニューで良かったです。

評価が高かっただけに、残念でした。

スタッフは良い。自然の中に囲まれている環境も良い。お湯も良い。 建物が古いのは仕方ないが、部屋のユニットバスから排水の匂いはなんとかならないか。部屋そのものはきれいに改装されています。食事処、大浴場の内風呂と半露天までの距離が異常に長い。館内の細かい段差やなだらかな坂が多く、つまづきやすい。目の悪い人は危険です。 夕食は工夫は凝らされているものが多いが味はよくない。量は多い。シンプルな料理も、刺身は暖かい、揚げたての天ぷらが冷たい、焼きあがるのを待ったイワナが冷めているしパサパサ。美味しかったのは飛騨牛のみ。朝食は、ほうば味噌以外、全部ビュッフェ。味は良い。 大浴場の排水溝には髪の毛の束。半露天風呂なのは本州で一番寒くなるところなので冬のことを考えると仕方ないが、虫除けスプレーが無造作に置かれている。裸で使いたくないし、半露天で窓が開け放ってあるのだから、虫が入ってくるのは当たり前。それを知らずに訪れクレームを入れる客であれば、モラルの問題。 hotels.comからの予約では、食事が一番下のランク。 連泊は、食事が一緒なので、おすすめしません。

The staff are very friendly, they make you feel at home. The place is somewhere in the mountains. It is peaceful and quiet. A good place to relax especially in the open area hotspring.
