Clean room. Clean toiley. Friendly staff. Room with windows. Muslim friendly with a prayer room and qiblat direction. Very cosy and quiet stay. Restaurants nearby. A walking distance to famous ansari cendol.

Basic but acceptable.

Axis is a small, locally owned hotel in the middle of town. The rooms are quite small with a compact bathroom. There is a TV with a couple of English stations, hot water and AC but the wifi is basically unusable. With only one small table there isn't much room to put your things other than the floor. The hotel is basic, the rooms are small but the staff is friendly and helpful and for the price it's hard to complain. Except for the wifi, not much to complain about.
