The hotel is located right next to Tainan train station, offering easy access to many malls and authentic restaurants. Despite being in such a central location, the room was clean and quiet. With so many dining options nearby, you really don't need to eat at the hotel.

Room was clean with updated plug in features for phone and laptop use. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was firmer than we prefer. Some updated lighting around the bathroom mirror would be nice... its a bit dark for putting on makeup or shaving. We never made it to the restaurant, but many of our local friends said the food is really good. We'd stay here again because its so close to the train station and really clean. A gym would be nice too.

A good hotel with history

Although the Tainan hotel is over 30 years old, it continues to provide nice service. The breakfast was good, and the staff were hospitable. The only downside was that the furniture in my room was a bit old, but everything was fully functional.

Always stay here when I travel to Tainan for business. A decent old hotel. Good location, hotel facilities need an update. Some of the rooms have been renovated but the room they gave me this time was an old one. Stayed here for 2 nights, it was overall a nice stay.

I stayed in a basic double room, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom was a little old and dark, but it wasn't a problem if you just wanted to take a shower. In the evening, simple breads and other snacks were available at the front desk, which was nice. The buffet had a wide variety and was very delicious. It's close to the station, so you don't have to worry if it suddenly starts raining. If I go to Tainan again, I'd like to stay here again.

Close to Tainan station which is excellent. Breakfast buffet has a lot of varieties. Close to bus station which is the main tranaportatiin mode in Tainan. There is no subway. Even though it is over 60 years old it is still well kept.

Convenient and clean

Very nice. The staff there are all very friendly and kind. The location is fantastic. But I think the lobby has a strong restroom smell. Another family member stayed in a room with one double bed right next to the elevator. I could hear people sitting on the chairs outside the elevator talking loudly at 10:00 pm. Maybe there should be a sign telling people not to sit there and chat at night.
