"It's a newer hotel building, so maintenance is good. However with our stay, the pool was undergoing maintenance and unavailable. The gym was also undergoing maintenance. There was was an alternate gym on site. And alternate arrangement for a nearby pools was an option at a nearby building, but timing did not allow.
Front desk check in was friendly, with English as an option. Straightforward. Concierges persons similarly, and great help in storing luggage.
Rooms were clean and had generous space for twin beds. A number of nice amenities included, more than necessary for a 1 night stay.
Hotel is generally convenient to an HSR shuttle line stop nearby (ensure you get off the right stop, do not store luggage on top of seats in bus!). Hotel is situated with a minimal number of bus lines to get you closer to downtown shopping malls (and Din Tai Fung) and stores, but if walking, about 10-20 mins away, depending on pace. Bus timetables and lines more sparse mid-day than rush hour. General area is walkable, with big long blocks dominated by a number of big highrise residential towers adjacent."
