Good value for the stay

The hotel is supposedly non-smoking, but the first room smelled liked a smoking lounge when we opened the door. We didn't even go into the room and headed back to the reception desk. They were very nice, apologetic, and immediately gave us a different room. The second room was much better, but still smelled like someone had been smoking in there. They brought us an ozone air filter, and advised us to open the window while the filter is on. Room was nice and spacious and relatively clean. We liked the wooden floor. The outlets were only two prong like most of the older hotels. Breakfast was adequate and tasty. Good value stay.

隔音真的不好，不管是走廊上的說話聲音或是隔壁房間的用水聲之類，都會很明顯。 房間及浴室內的設備維護感受到年代久遠，雖感受到清潔人員盡力清潔，但是浴室的速力康還是抵抗不住發霉(?)，黑黑的。 備品的部份基本上都有，只是不能明白為什麼是二瓶洗髮精(一瓶綠色、一瓶白色)，沒有沐浴露

禾康不錯住

禾康住起來很舒服，可以提早去寄放行李，有兩個小缺點是床單上面有一點點血漬，然後早上的時候大概七點就有人開關門還有推車推過去的聲音跟聊天的聲音，但晚上隔音還不錯，至少是天亮才被吵醒

房間非常非常的大，床很軟，有點不習慣；對內的隔音還OK，但是窗外車子的聲音還蠻大的；房內有浴缸可以泡澡，有標示寫是溫泉；廁所是免治馬桶有加分。check in時會給一些小餅乾，但疫情期間沒有量體溫有點意外。有點不方便的是有停車的話出門要先到1樓消磁再回停車樓層開車。

Good value for north district Taichung

My wife and I have stayed here several times when I have meetings in Taichung. This time I upgraded our room but it wasn't an improvement in experience over a basic two-person room (the "wood" floor was thin laminate that's starting to come loose from the floor). Will continue to stay at Herkang as it has great location and value but won't choose this kind of room in the future.

Herkang is well known as an affordable and comfortable hotel. Basic and clean accommodations with an above-average breakfast buffet as they go. Good location with quick access to National Highway #1.
