Deluxe room on Christmas 2019

We stayed in deluxe room for a night, when we arrived the guard accommodated us to the parking nicely. He was very kind. During check-in, it was a smooth and fast process, the rooms were ready. The dining area was good and ambiance was clean, and interior gave an antique vibes. After a couple of beers, headed back to the room but there was no dental kit, so we called for the kit but it was out of stock but the front desk bought it outside the next day so that they could provide us the dental kit. The hot water can be improved cause hot and cold water keeps on coming out from the shower. The walls are not sound proof well as we can hear the noise from outside: Breakfast was okay, the choices were limited but taste was good. Manager's service was very fast and helpful. Upon checking out, we went to the view deck. And view was superb. We forgot the phone in the room but manager quickly gave it to us. Overall experience was great, and service was good. Will come back to try the suite room next time.

Alta D' Tagaytay is a clean and well-built hotel located in a quite secluded area of Tagaytay. It offers guests a warm, rustic ambiance from its wood cabin-like construction of its facilities. The lobby and the rooms are spacious and clean, but a little bare and offers little warmth and comfort. Food options are limited, compared to the wide array of dishes and possibilities around Tagaytay. Bathroom amenities are a little scarce and warm water was not immediately available as it was not set-up prior to occupancy. I can imagine the parking being a problem when the hotel approaches its guest capacity. The view from the restaurant terrace is beautiful, only temporarily marred by the construction on that side of the property. The good news is that the issues I observed could all be addressed with just a little more attention paid by hotel management (e.g., use of flowers, softer decors, a little more room amenities). It was not a bad experience but given the nice wooden feel of the property and the excellent view it had over the lake, it could definitely have been way better.

Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Alta D'Tagaytay! The service was really excellent, all of the staff are very helpful and fluent in English, which was great! The hotel and the room was huge and very spacious, with a beautiful view of the hills and the lake. I'd definitely recommend staying there! Super fast wifi too.

The place is quite away fromthe busy street of Tagaytay which is nice if you want to relax. The room was huge and clean. The only issue is the sound proofing of the room is not great. You can hear the noise from other room event from the upper level room. Also It lacks ammenities for the kids. But overall the place is nice for a daycation!

Surprised

Surprisingly hidden hotel overlooking Taal volcano. Unfortunately the weather was not that great. You can barely enjoy the scenery. Hotel was good for the rate we paid. Service was also good. Very big room was good. Unfortunately, we did not get the scenery room.
