"We used to stay at this hotel at least once a year, to have a weekend with a glorious beachfront view, and we could always request the same room. Coming back now, it’s a totally different vibe. Seems like it has been bought out, and the new company only cares about profit, not the actual guests. We requested our same room and didnt get it, and instead we were berated at check-in for booking through a third party. We wanted to do laundry (which they used to have), but they no longer have it. And we requested to stay just 30 min late, so we could relax until our train departure, and they gave me a hard time. Overall it felt like they were not the least bit interested in accommodating us, but were annoyed we were taking up space there. This hotel is a very special part of our past, but maybe it should stay that way. "

"The boutique showed up as cat friendly on my web search. I was traveling with my cat so excitedly booked. Once I finalized the payment I got an email which highlighted the property is not pet friendly and to please not bring pets. I quickly called to cancel but wasn’t able to get through to any staff. I called a few times over the next couple days- only to find out the staff is truly not available. I received emails about “we’re excited to see you” to which I’d reply “hi please help me cancel, I have my pet with me I can’t stay with you” of course I’d get no response. Really frustrating that the staff is MIA. Not sure if the company has listed themselves as pet friendly on their Business Profile or it was a fluke- but either way they should remain available to assist with reservations. Didn’t stay, paid for it though!"

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Walking distance from the beach. Lots of cool local stores nearby to check out. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit."

"Good place if budget is top of mind. Close to the state beach (can walk there), and stuff for the family to do (pickleball, mini golf, cornhole, swimming pool, etc). Place was pretty run down. Our shower door wouldn’t close, pieces of drywall trim were missing, and the a/c was pretty old and couldn’t keep up with the humidity. We (family of 5) stayed 5 nights, and the cleaning service only came once. They didn’t clean; they just changed bedding and brought towels. There was construction outside our room all day, jackhammering was pretty noisy and not relaxing. Staff was pretty friendly, which helps cuz you have to ask them for a lot…garbage bags, towels, check out equipment for activities, etc. Lobby had decent keurig coffee. It had a toaster, a microwave, and some dishes, enough for us to have basic cereal, sandwiches, bagels. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I was really trying to minimize expenses. But…HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant on site. The food was great (we ate there 3 times!), and by far the best spicy margaritas on the planet!"

"The view was very good, but with NO elevator it was VERY difficult going up and down 3 levels of outdoor stairs with luggage. "
