"My Mom and i stayed in one of the Junior chalets and we loved it. They are kept neat and stocked with things needed for cooking. The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious. But most important all the staff where helpful even going out of their way to help us even before my Mom was hurt. She hurt herself half way through our trip and anything we needed and more they helped. "

"Very easy check in/out process. Property was clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities were provided. This property was slightly less expensive than hotels in the area, while also being an overall slightly better product in my opinion."

"We booked the Jaa - the Ice room. Everything was good - room was clean, kitchenware and toiletries were of good quality (Marimekko, Rituals) and housekeeping staff were friendly. Location also good - bus stop to the SCV was just 2mins’ walk and lots of food options nearby. This is important if you want to minimise walking in the cold. Our room was facing a construction site but we didn’t hear much noise so no issue. Breakfast spread was fine, although we don’t eat reindeer salami. "

"Great apartment ideal for family of 4
All the facilities available to make your trip care free. The sauna in the bathroom was a great surprise. Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Rovaniemi "

"Loved the location of this hotel! Close to everything, shops, food, ice skating rink in city center, and The Angry Birds park (haha) the kids loved going there and sledding down the hill! Also the buffet breakfast was phenomenal. The best I’ve ever had. Such a delicious selection of foods and most of it gluten free! Rovaniemi was such a safe haven for being celiac. Rooms were lovely and nicely cleaned. Shower was on the small side but I didn’t mind. Would recommend!"
"We recently stayed at Lomavekarit for five days and had an excellent experience. The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and felt very homely, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also made good use of the private sauna within the accommodation, which was a great addition after days out exploring. After visiting the city, we were especially glad that we had chosen to stay just outside it, as it meant we could return to peaceful, quiet surroundings at the end of each day. Despite the tranquillity, the location was still conveniently close to local activities and only a short drive from the city centre.
Tahir, the host, was outstanding throughout our stay. He was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make our trip easy and enjoyable. He drove us to the places we visited, picked us up afterwards, and even handled our airport transfers, which made the whole experience stress-free. His hospitality made a real difference to our visit, and we felt very well looked after from start to finish.
We would highly recommend Lomavekarit to anyone visiting the area and would be more than happy to stay again."
"This is a beuitiful little chalet. Tahir was great and even took me to the supermarket to get some shopping.
The place itself is nice with a pull out bed and double bed with sauna. If you need anything the host Tahir was around with in mintues to help out.
It is about a 10 minute drinve in a taxi to the centre and 6 minutes to the ski slopes. Winterland park is around 12minutes. Santa villige under 10 minutes.
I didnt have car so we got an uber, the most expensive was winterland park being £25 then to town and slopes it was £11. The local taxi is proberly abit cheaper.
This is a great place to stay and safe off the road for the children to play out the front in the snow.
Highly recommend"
