「Love staying here when we visit the UK - its close to our family and friends and you get a real small village feel. Staff at the hotel are great and the breakfast is fantastic. Definitely prefer this to the any of the big name hotel chains so would absolutely recommend to anyone.」

「We were given an upgraded room at check-in, and asked to pay a £10 charge for an extra cleaning charge for our dog. I was expecting this charge as Expedia don't give an option for paying for it when booking online. We dropped our bags in room and went out for a walk, on return we had a drink in the bar and went into restaurant for our evening meal which we both found uninspiring, especially the desserts. The staff were efficient, sympathetic and friendly, but were unable to get a replacement kettle to me. 「Lovely room, good tea/coffee making facilities & supply of fresh bottled milk. Great supply of bathroom toiltries. Staff were extremely friendly & the food was delicious, fresh & cooked to order...top marks to the chef !! One of our best stays, would definitely return to this wonderful pub.」
