"To start with the positive- the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, and the staff was phenomenal! It was a great place to stay for a night. The carpet and wallpaper in the room and hallway was a bit dated, and neither parking nor breakfast were included."

It is really one of my top 5 hotels of the year even though I barely slept this year due to the noise outside on the street. I just look at it as the crazy world we live in and I was perched high in an ivory (politically inspired tower). The whole experience is fantastic year after year. A blend of homeless, old world charm and great food and service. I love everything about the experience Sacramento has to offer. The crumbling neighborhoods of failed politics with the comfort of old world style and class with politics front and center reminding me, living with the Haves is so so sweet!! "
